White structures are not the best subjects for HDR's. The process tends to make them really ugly and grey. So I blended this image with the original shot, so it stays at least a little white :)

There is also a lot of lens distortion in this shot. I don't mind it at all. I think taking photos of structures this way gives them a more majestic feeling, they just look bigger :) I really like this composition, so I will probably go there again, when there are nice clouds, and maybe a sunset :)

Night Bridge

I just keep taking photos of bridges, they are really my favorite subject to photograph. Of course this is the New Bridge in Bratislava. Photo taken from the Bratislava Castle.

Cool clouds

I had no plans to go out and take photos yesterday. But when I saw the clouds I had to go out and take at least few shots. And as the Strkovec lake is the closes place to my flat, I went there. You can see on the water, that it was quite windy, but the long exposure made the water almost look like it was ice.

Last Summer

I quite like having sun in my photos. And when I get such a nice sun-star it's even better :).

Skeleton

This was also taken in the Dinopark in the Bratislava Zoo. I was trying out if I can create usable handled HDR's with the Canon 7d. And as you can see, they can be quite alright (and this was taken at around 150mm)

The red boat in front of the water mill

Another one of my older shots, from my "backup" list (photos which I post, when I have no time to edit new ones :)). But If nothing went wrong, I should have spend the whole weekend taking new photos, so there should be something new tomorrow :)

Wheels

I took so many photos this weekend. I was hoping to have at least one ready for today, but I arrived home quite late and quite tired. So I will have one tomorrow and for now another older shot :)

New day begins

So this is already one from this weekend. I somehow managed to get up for the sunrise again. The last time there were no clouds, but this time I had this beautiful color show, so I was very pleased. For this one I took 9 shots, from -4 to +4. I did it manually, quickly changing the settings between each shot. I also tried to create a panorama of this sunrise, so hopefully I will upload it sometime later :)

In this shot the Stary Haj area near Krupina in central Slovakia.

Almost full moon

My plan for last weekend was also to take photos of the stars, as the 7D has quite nice performance on higher ISO levels. But I didn't account for the very bright almost full moon. It was so bright, that the stars were almost not visible. So I took photos of the moon instead :)

I actually felt quite stupid when I took this. The reason was, that the setup I used, the 7D with a Celestron telescope, could only capture something above half of the moon and you couldn't zoom out. And it took me quite a while to remember, that I can create a panorama from multiple shots, to capture the whole moon :)

This is not a HDR shot, I took multiple exposures, but the didn't align properly and the HDR from a single RAW didn't look right to me. So I just created a panorama from two shots, removed the distortion and did few steps I usually do in HDR post-processing.
