Behind the Vajdahunyad castle
That's one complicated name for a castle. But hungarian is not such an easy language (and despite having many hungarian friends, I understand only very few words.). The castle looks really nice, just the amount of people there, is alwyas to much for me :) That why I have never been inside. Maybe during my next visit.
Castle entrance
Always when I tried to take a photo of this entrance, I had people in my shot. So in the end I decided to go there at 4:30 in the morning. What I didn't know is that the metro in Budapest does not run so early (better said, the line I needed) so I had a nice 30 minute walk at 4 in the morning through the city. The city looks really different at that time (and a little scary :) ).
Vajdahunyad Castle hiding behind the trees
Last time I was here in early spring, there was no water here. So it just didn't look right.
Budapest
Second visit to Budapest, this time just a short one, but with a much better weather :)
Hungarian Parliament
As you can see, the weather was not good when I was in Budapest two months ago. But still I wanted at least some interesting photos.
Inside the Matthias Church
Very nice and detailed church this is. Too bad it's currently under reconstruction, so what you see here is almost everything what is not covered up.
Fisherman's Bastion
Too bad it was closed, but still it looked like a fairy tale castle.
Cloudy sunset in Budapest
Not the most colorful of sunsets. The cloudy sky made the photos look really grey.
