Massive

A lot of people don't like distortion in their photos. I don't mind. Sometimes I even like them. Like for instance here. The view through a wide angle lens make the bridge look so massive and majestic, exactly the look I was going for :). Everyone visiting this blog regularly, will definitely recognize the bridge in this photos. Of course it's the New Bridge in Bratislava.

Last Fireworks

This was the finish of the new years fireworks in Bratislava. And this is for now the last photo I'm uploading from them. Maybe later I add more :)

End of a Year

I said I had more fireworks shots :) So here is another one. This was taken after the main new years fireworks already ended. It was actually quite a lucky shot, because when I pressed the shutter, somebody fired off a firework right below me. So I had the exact right moment :)

Fireworks over Danube

So I tried again to take few photos of the midnight fireworks. For the last few years they were accompanied by a heavy fog, which hid most of them. But luckily, this year the weather played along, and I got some nice shots :) (so there will be a few more this week :))

This photo was taken from the Bratislava Castle, you can see the New Bridge over Danube in it.

All the colors of sunset

Sometimes I really don't know what to say about a photo. I took so many shots around the bridges in Bratislava, that I'm starting to repeat myself. So I say nothing today :). Just enjoy the photo :)

Green-yellow bridge

This was one of the first shots I did with the Canon 7D. It was quite a change going from the 450D. You can really see, from the options and features, that this is a professional camera. Just the custom modes help you so much, when you switch between hdr and normal photos, that it's worth the cost.

Again under the bridge

As usually, I cannot pass by a bridge without going under it and taking a photo :). This time it's the Czech Bridge (Cechuv most) in Prague. It was quite early in the morning, with a heavy fog over the city. So that's why the sky is just grey.

Boats, bridge and sunset

Another of my favorite places in Prague. I really like the composition you can make here, with the boats in the foreground and the Karl's bridge in the background.

Entering the New Bridge

Little bit different angle on the New Bridge in Bratislava. When I took this I was already on my way home, but I still had to stop for few more shot. I think everybody who loves photography, knows this. You just don't know when to stop :)
