Open-Air Museum of folk architecture
I went with a very old photo today, over two years. It's from the Open-Air Museum of folk architecture in Bardejovske Kupele in eastern Slovakia. There are many of them in Slovakia and also a huge number of wooden churches scattered around the country. I think it would make for a great photo series.
Back in time

It very interesting to visit these open air museums in Slovakia. Sometime you have luck, and there is nobody there, so for a moment you can feel like you have been transported back in time :)

This photo is from the one in Bardejovske Kuple in eastern Slovakia.

HDR from three shots, taken with Canon 450D with Sigma 10-20mm lens, from a tripod.
Water and Yellow penguins

It's quite hard to take this photo :). Not because it's hard to get here, it's not. It's because right to the right, you have a great view of the Prague castle, which looks just amazing. So you just have to pull yourself away to take a photo in a different direction :)

I did very little post-processing on this one, as I really liked the colors :). Photos were combined using Photomatix and the I corrected the white building from one of the lighter shots.

Military Vehicle

I was a little busy yesterday (seems to happen to me quite a lot the last month) so I instead of creating a new HDR, I selected one of my very old ones. I edited this probably more than 6 months ago :).

This one was taken at the military museum in Svidnik, when I was there in 2010.

Kunsthistorisches Museum in Vienna

I will put up few more photos from Vienna this week. I spend the Saturday there, just walking around the city and taking a lot of photos. This time I tried only to check out most of the city center. The next time I plan to select few museums and check out all the exhibitions :).

Floating above Prague

Every time I look at this photo I think about Jules Verne. It really looks to mi like a cover to one of his book :). I thinking of trying to created an aged version of it, to make more vintage look :)

Plane at the Military museum

One from Eastern Slovakia today. This shot was taken at the Military museum in Svidnik.

Entry to a wooden church

The open gate on this church looked so welcoming, but the inside was closed of with a gate. But anyway it still looked great :). This is one of the two churches in the open air museum in Bardejovske Kupele (from which I have already uploaded a few photos :)). I haven't found the name of this one, only that it's originally from the village Zbroj, from where it was moved in 1967.

Wooden Church

What would I do without a wide-angle lens :). It's absolutely great to be able to stand close to a building and still get it into the shot. This is one of the wooden churches in the open air museum in Bardejovske Kupele.
