Strbske Pleso These time I edited one of the photos I took like two years ago. This was actually the first time I started shooting bracketed shots for HDR's :). I didn't have my DSLR with me, but I had a borrowed Lumix TZ3 camera, which supports bracketing. It was only from -1 to +1, but better than nothing :). This photo was taken at the Strpske Pleso in Hight Tatras in Slovakai. Taken with Lumix TZ3, HDR from three shots, taken handheld.
Hanavsky pavilion This is one of my handheld HDR's. It's always a little bit of a hit or miss. A lot of them are really not usable, either not sharp enough or they can't be aligned at all. Usually I don't bother and just go to another photo. Just when I see that the photo is really promising I stick with it :). What I found, that a great way to do it, is to tonemapp just a single exposure, and then just mask in parts, which need to be fixed. Usually when you cannot align the whole image, its still possible to align a smaller part. With this photo I had absolutely no problems :). The alignment worked perfectly, I just had to correct the moving people. This is the Hanavsky pavilion, which is situated on a hill above Prague. There is a great view of the city from here, and you can actually see it a little in the bottom right part of the photo. HDR from three shots, taken with Canon 450D with Sigma 10-20mm lens, handheld.
After taking photos This photo was taken after a beautiful sunset which I spend taking photos in the woods (which I already shared on this blog :)), and we were on the way back. This was the great car we used to get there :). As this was taken some time after the sunset, the sky was this light blue which almost looked like white in the photos. I was thinking of making it more blue, but then decided against it. I left the car, the darkest part of the photo. In this shot I really played with the distortion, which is created with a wide angle lens. The Camera was maybe 1m from the car at F18 to still keep it sharp. It almost looks like the car is bend :) HDR from three shots, taken with Canon 450D with Sigma 10-20mm lens, from a tripod.
