No, not Halloween As the weather got better today, I went for about an hour to a close by cemetery to take few shots. As there is no Halloween in Slovakia (but the shops really try to bring it here), the tradition here is to put candles onto graves. So the cemeteries look really interesting after sundown. I took only few shots, as the exposure times were just too long. For this one for instance, the longest exposure was 127 seconds, and I was already down to F4 and ISO 320. So taking a single bracket series took me up to 5 minutes :)
Little big city The plan for today was to take some photos at a near by cemetery, as they are filled with candles now. But as it's raining the whole day a rather stayed home. Feeling a little sick and don't want to make it worse. So instead an older photo overlooking one of the parts of Bratislava. Looking at this view it looks so big, and it really isn't that big, only 400 000 people. Quite small compared to other cities :)
Capturing the Moon From all the places I visited when I was last time in Budapest, this is the last one of which I haven't uploaded any photos yet. The Széchenyi thermal bath looks great, but the combination of yellow lights with yellow buildings gives me a headache when I'm editing the final HDR. It's just never exactly as I would like it :) Actually this is the forth edit of this photos. The first three I did in the last month I deleted afterwards. But I try not to give up on photos I like and go back to them after a while, and try again.
